Signs of the Times

Luke 21:25-33 “

And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. ²⁶ People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. ²⁷ Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. ²⁸ So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”

²⁹ Then he gave them this illustration: “Notice the fig tree, or any other tree. ³⁰ When the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near. ³¹ In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near. ³² I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place. ³³ Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

Do YOU notice some different things happening these days that feel like signs of the times we are living in? The Bible tells us that no one can know the day or the hour of Christ return. What we can do, is discern the signs of the times we are living in. With everything happening in the world and time getting shorter, people are hungry for a touch from God, for the TRUTH of God. We are walking miracles with the Holy Spirit living inside of us! GOD is pouring out His Holy Spirit upon ALL FLESH. That we may preach the gospel; and that signs, wonders, and miracles will follow us who Believe! I’m here for this. I pray you are too. Where ever you are in the world, you have a place in the Kingdom of Heaven and to do His mighty works here on Earth as we usher in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is coming back soon! The signs are everywhere.

When you go outside on a walk throughout your neighborhood, to the grocery store, to work, is the Kingdom of God near you? If you are a Holy Spirit filled Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, the answer is yes! And it is touching everyone around you. You are alive on this earth right now for such a time as this! God created you with a specific plan and purpose to fulfill in these very days we are living in. You can share the good news of Jesus when you go out. You can go out right now and share with someone! We have souls to win for His Kingdom and for His Glory. We are His hands and feet and mouthpieces. People are hungry for the truth, and Jesus Christ is the ONLY TRUTH! Everything else is passing away. He is the only one who made a way for eternity. So, I encourage you to share Jesus with someone today. The times we are living in demand us to do what God is calling us to do. Romans 8:19 says, “For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.” Let’s go now and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
